BaseN is a global full-stack IoT platform. We are working with customers in industries such as telecom, construction, smart buildings, energy. Currently, we have a global presence, serving customers in 80+ countries and growing!

In this role, you get to work as part of our sales team of four people, in close cooperation with our technology team. The role combines three elements; new sales generation, tech solution development with our clients as well as long term account management. You get to work with both Finnish and international customers and be part of our multinational BaseN team. Yes, some travelling might be involved to sales meetings and industry events abroad. We appreciate you being a team player and enjoying relationship management in large organizations. Having a commercial mindset and business acumen are a must. As we operate in SaaS business, we hope you find it natural to communicate an sell technical solutions to techy people.

In a nutshell, your role can be divided into three areas of responsibility

  1. New sales generation: Leading and securing delivery on set targets regarding customer base, profit margin and sales contribution. End-to-end sales development, management and providing business functions with support to develop sales argumentation and training.

  1. Solutions development: understanding the customers’ challenges and finding creative solutions to make their business more efficient with BaseN platform.  

  1. Key account management: it’s all about managing and developing relationships with customers and partners. Continuous improvement of new and existing services throughout the product life cycle. Consistent, world class customer journeys for services, including sales, marketing and customer communication.

In order to succeed in this role, you have:

  • Experience from selling tailored tech solution to multinational companies

  • Understanding of technical solutions and interest to learn more

  • Proven skills regarding successful go-to-market and tactical sales steering

  • Working proficiency in Finnish and English

  • Relevant academic education
